Topic of your Choice, Graduation!

I cannot wait to graduate high school. I've been here for most of my life and now I'm going to be out of here. I've been here with the same people throughout elementary and high school. Now that we're done I am just so ecstatic. I am going to have so much freedom and I won't have to wake up so early for high school. Next fall I will going to college and after high school I think it's time.  I am finally done and it's so nice to be done.  I will miss a bunch of people and I won't miss a bunch of people.  Those people that I will miss I will make sure I see again.  Finally I am done with high school. It's finally here...........

Cinco de Mayo!

Cinco de Mayo is a day when Mexico gained it's independence. It's celebrated because it was a war that Mexico was fought against France. It's a day where we celebrate Mexico's culture and heritage.  I think anyone could celebrate the holiday, but I really think Mexico should celebrate this more than us. The reason we celebrate it is because we helped Mexico fight until it was won.  It should become a national because a bunch of people celebrate it even on the southern border of the U.S.  The people really celebrate it are people who are Hispanic-Americans.  I think we all should celebrate it because our nation helped in winning the war.

National No Homework Day is May 6th.  We celebrate it during Teacher Appreciation Week.  The reason we have it is to give teachers a break from their job.  It sounds like a really good idea.  I celebrated it by not doing my homework because I didn't have any homework. It was mighty nice. It was created to get students to get up and go outside.

Prom!

I think Prom is really fun.  It's just one time of the year that you get to dress up, excluding any winter dances.  It's a time to have fun and just dance.  I went to this year's Prom and it was a lot of fun. I had so much fun dancing and talking with people.  I had so much fun with my girlfriend.  I wouldn't want to go with anyone else.  One thing that was best in the evening was going to dinner.  It was so much fun and so delicious.  I don't think it's that important to go to Prom during your senior year, it's more of a chose if you want to go or not.  After Prom is a lot of fun. You get free food, free fun, and free money.  It's a lot of fun, but it's so tiring because it runs late but that makes it so much more fun.  I had a blast at Prom and After Prom, it's sad that it was my last one.  I think we should still have Prom, and if you want to go to After Prom you can.  I think we should have both still.

Earth Day!

  Do a bit of research and find three interesting things about Earth Day that you didn't already know.  List them in your blog.  What kinds of things should we do to celebrate this day.  Include the logo for Earth Day 2013 to the left of your blog text.

 Today is Earth Day and to me that means keeping the Earth clean. I think people can at least go green for one day.  I think it's a day where we can be happy that Earth is still here.  I have never participated in any kind of celebration for Earth Day, but I wish I did.  Earth Day was created because of the protests during the Vietnam War.  Earth Day was not invented until 1970. Earth Day publicly helped

Violence on TV!

I think the amount of violence on TV is way too much.  Kid are allowed to watch this shows unless they are blocked from them by their parents, but other than that they are not.  I think they should left how they are now. If parents don't want their kids watching something violent then they should block the channel or even the show. I do actually watch violent shows and some are really good shows. TV shows have so much violence to keep the viewers interested. I think it's just to keep the views up on the show.

 
 I think the Simpsons is pretty violent, but yet it's funny.  It shows kids that parents hurt their children when they're mad or in trouble.  I think it would be appropriate to watch this show at about 13 because of all the violence and humor.

Spring Break!

I have no idea where to start with this.  I will choose one day that was during Spring Break that was really excited. During Spring Break the baseball team went to Vero Beach, Florida. The complex we went to was called Vero Beach Sports Village.  It used to be called Dodgertown because it was the old Dodger's Spring training facility. We were lucky enough to go down there. It was Thursday and we had early morning practice.  We woke up about 8:00 a.m. and that was rough as it was.  We went to breakfast at our complex.  The food was okay, but I can't complain.  We had a very nice practice, that was warm and sunny, tough life I know.  After practice we went swimming and then we had lunch at the complex, we headed to the local mall after we were done.  It was a lot of fun. I just window shopped the whole time.  After we were done we came back and had dinner. It started to rain which was not good because we were suppose to go to a single A baseball game.  We had a blast there especially since it stopped raining once we got there. The night ended really well with the baseball game.  Thankfully the rain stopped so we could watch.  That was just one good day of the entire week. I had the time of my life.

Cheaters Never Win!

If I saw a friend cheating I would confront them and probably report it.  I think that's moral the right thing to do.  I don't think that you should ever cheat on an assignment or anything else.  I really don't think that people should feel good about cheating.  They should put the effort in and work as hard they can to try and learn the information for testing or anything else.  A lot of people do it, but that doesn't they should do the same.

Harlem Shake!

The Harlem Shake is a dance you do with the song called the Harlem Shake by Bauuer. You only use the first thirty seconds of the song. First you start making any motion you can and than when the song drops its levels everyone else starts dancing.  It involves dancing and making motions to the beat of the song.  I think it's extremely funny, but it depends on what and how they're dancing. I would totally participate in a Harlem Shake.  It's really cool how something started so small and now it's this huge world wide known thing.

Everyone would love to participate in a Harlem Shake sometime.  The Harlem Shake is really just a song, but people made it into a short dance from the first thirty seconds of the song.  You have one person start making any dance motion and once the song hits about 12 seconds it changes beat and then everyone starts dancing.  You can do it anywhere and anytime.

Testing! Testing! Testing!

I feel that a lot of my life has spent learning and I have learned a lot. Education does not rely to heavily on testing, but for those who are not good at test taking have trouble with it. I feel that there not bad test takers, they just have the mental thought of being bad or even could learn to become better at test taking. If there wasn't any tests there would be a lot more people in careers. Teachers wouldn't know what you have grasped besides in your work. 

 I feel that these tests are great for testing schools and their teaching abilities. Some schools don't even teach some of the materials that are on the tests. There really can't be a "fair" standardized test for everyone. Not everyone is great at doing there things, but these tests don't really explain life success. I am terrible at testing, I just am not good at it. I feel like I can become better at test taking, but it's not good right now. I feel the room for improvement and so can those people who are terrible at taking tests.

Top Four

The four most important things in my life. 

1. My Family - My family is extremely important to me. They're always there to help with my needs and they know who I am as a person. They don't judge me and give me advice on life. They also support me in any way they can. I love my family. I probably could not function without them. I need my family to be a family.
2. My Friends - I could not function without my friends. I'm always having fun no matter what the situation.They are full of knowledge and friendship. Without them I couldn't function as a normal human being. My life would be dull.
3. My  Health and Happiness - My health is extremely important to me and my life. Even the people around me want me in good health. My happiness is worth a lot. I could not live without my happiness. I need happiness all day everyday, without it life is not as fun as it could be.
4. Education - Life to me would not be fun without having been educated.  I love having basic knowledge of life everyday.  I probably could not live without having an basic knowledge of anything.  Life is to short to not know things. 

Popular President

I believe the President that had the greatest impact was George Washington because he was basically meant to be our first President.  He fought for our country and was in lead Command of our Army.  He fought for our independence. The hardest thing about being a President is being in charge of everything and just handling everything really well.  Some people will like you and others won't, but that doesn't change your role as the President of the United States of America.  I would probably be a President if I could. It would be awesome to change a country and make it better. It would be very stressful and consistently working, but I could do it.  If I was running for President my campaign pitch would be "Change the way you live, not your life."

Charity Event!

I've I had an extra $100,000 I would donate it to the Humane Society.  The animals really need the help and so does the Humane Society.  I think the animals need all the help they can get. They're defenseless against humans.  With all the food and equipment they can buy to help the animals they could save hundreds of animal lives.  I feel like I would be helping animals in many ways. I would even volunteer to help any way I could. With the extra money I could help many animals.

I want out of here!

I would prefer to be in Bermuda right now.  It would be so nice and warm in Bermuda.  The water will be so warm and the sky will be so sunny. I could get my tan on.  I really like snow and the cold, but I would prefer to be in a nice warm place.  It's winter here in Michigan and it's winter in Bermuda, but the difference is the temperature and location on earth.  It would be so awesome to go swimming right now and just relax by the water.

Bug Out!

If I could be an insect I would be a daddy-long-leg spider.  They are one of the most deadly spiders, but they can't exactly kill humans the way they kill insects.  They kill insects and wrap them up in their web.  People are scared of them because they are so big, but they don't do any harm to you. They kill bugs which would be fun if I was a spider.  I would love to crawl all over everything and just do what you want in the wilderness.

Here I Come Bermuda!

If I could go anywhere on this planet I would go to Bermuda.  I love the area. It's so small and completely covered by water.  The water is so clear and fresh.  The city has so many things to do and has people from all over the world in it.

There is so many places to explore on the island and under the water.  The uniqueness of Bermuda is just crazy.  It's almost like no other place on Earth.  It's calm and relaxing, while fun without all the worry.  Bermuda is a wonderland.

Vacation Time

My time off was extravagant.  I got to catch up on sleep and finally feel normal again.  I ate all the time.  I even got to relax and ride my snowmobile.  The time flew by though.

During my time off I hung out with friends a lot.  My break started off pretty well.  I got to sleep in the first Saturday.  I went out with my friends and we had a good time.  For Christmas I got four coats, a bunch of clothes, and some money for gas.  It was really nice what I got from my relatives and "Santa Claus".  I went sledding with my friends at Heritage Park in Adrian.  We had so much fun and a blast.  I did not make to many resolutions this year besides being nicer to people.  I think I will keep that as a resolution.  I'm hoping to achieve it.

During the break I had basketball practice.  I had a lot of fun coming into the school to see my friends during practice, but I dreaded the first day back.  I had a really good break.
